Go-to-Market Enablement Specialist

SMG is hiring a Go-to-Market Enablement Specialist to be responsible for connecting product and marketing to sales, client success, and other teams to ensure the organization is informed of and can speak to SMG’s products and positioning. This role is pivotal in ensuring our customer-facing roles are equipped with the knowledge and tools they need to help our clients succeed and our company grow.

What we need in this role:
  • Enablement program development: Support the planning and execution of enablement programs that align with go-to-market strategies, including scheduling, organization of and assistance with materials, and in some cases, presenting.
  • Sales and client organization readiness: Equip sales and client success teams with the necessary tools, content, and messaging to effectively engage prospects and clients.
  • Training and content creation: Work closely with the product and product marketing managers to create and update go-to-market content, including but not limited to PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use, GTM playbooks, solution overviews, videos, user documentation, FAQ documents, and emails.
  • Communications: Support the internal and external communications around product go-to-market activities by drafting and project managing emails, in-platform announcements, and SharePoint and website content.
  • Provide back-up support for RFPs by organizing and polishing slides and applying SMG or client/prospect brand standards as required.
  • Update product and positioning materials, including presentations, sales sheets, and internal training modules, as features and messaging evolve.
  • Help manage demo collaboration communities and other tools and materials.
  • Track enablement success across the organization for go-to-market enablement activities and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to succeed:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a SaaS company
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to understand and teach others about technical concepts in a benefits-forward fashion.
  • Willing to be agile and cross-functional.
Preferred
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a bonus
  • Degree in marketing or communications
