WHAT WE’LL NEED

The Local Media Manager will delivery on impactful local media campaigns for new restaurant openings and local initiatives by developing, executing, and managing media plans that drive awareness and traffic. Leveraging innovation and digital best practices, working directly with brand partners and cross functional teams as a vital part of fostering healthy relationships and achieving shared strategic goals. Likewise, using business intelligence to evaluate plan performance for optimization will be key.

  • Strategic thought leader across local media.
  • Owns media strategy and execution for all local media campaigns, defining KPIs and developing processes for execution. Local Media includes NRO, brand partner media and Ad Fund funded campaigns. Local media channels include, but not limited to, Local TV, Local Radio, Social, Display, OOH.
  • Daily contact for Brand Partners and Field Marketing Teams as it relates to local media and NRO campaigns.
  • Works cross-functionally with accounting and field operations
  • Manages agency relationship for local media and process for engagement and execution – reports issues/outages with proposed solutions to leadership.
  • Develops and presents to brand partners market-level or restaurant-level media plans to achieve established objectives and KPIs.
  • Trends results to inform strategic changes and campaign optimizations.
  • Synthesizes recommendations to be shared with Wingstop leadership, as needed.
  • Oversees campaign level budgeting and billing.
  • Works with internal teams and agency partners on creative needs and requests for each campaign.
  • Partners with Analytics team to impact NRO and local media approach.
  • Availability for flex projects to support National Media.
  • Lead one direct report

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • EXPERIENCE: 5+ years in local media, preferably with in-house roles or media agencies. 3+ years of hands-on experience executing local social, and programmatic media buys. Above-the-line media planning experience is a strong plus.
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS: Deep understanding of local media strategies, with the ability to execute them effectively.
  • LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION: Skilled at coaching, managing, and mentoring associate level direct report, while maintaining a hands-on approach when needed. Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, excellent project management abilities, and robust organizational skills.
  • COMMUNICATION: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategies, insights, and recommendations.
  • PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: A self-starter with creative problem-solving abilities, capable of taking initiative and driving results. Flexible and adaptable to dynamic environments, with a focus on delivering excellence.
