What does your role bring to the table?
The Snooze Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in helping to drive operational performance at Snooze by utilizing data to summarize and present cohesive business recommendations across all disciplines and departments. In addition, they will help create financial forecasts and budgets, as well as develop new reporting using Power BI and leveraging our new internal data warehouse. This role will support various departments in reaching their reporting and data goals which will have a large impact on Snooze's ability to create exceptional Guest Experiences. Overall, the role of the Senior Financial Analyst will be to support the goals and priorities of Snooze and proactively present the data necessary to make sound business decisions within a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the Vice President of Finance and comes with lots of pancakes and bacon!
The Position specifics!
Taking on the role of Senior Financial Analyst isn’t just about bacon and pancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:
- Support cross-function departments to conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
- Leverage the internal data warehouse to create reporting for various departments
- Create and manage financial forecasts including current year, 1-year, and long-range planning to support key decision-making
- Prepare complex financial models, including cash-flow models, Income Statements, pre/post analysis, marketing/promotional campaign tests, human capital reporting and Key Performance Indicator reporting and summarize with actionable next steps
- Perform actual to budget/forecast variance analysis and partner with Accounting to ensure alignment
- Identify potential cost-savings initiatives and identify risks/opportunities to the business
- Lead new projects and priorities as needed
- Other tasks and duties as assigned to meet Snooze’s operational goals and priorities

Let’s talk prerequisites! (Education, credentials, and experience)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or other related discipline (or certification equivalents) preferred
- 4+ years of proven professional experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Analytics or Business Intelligence (relevant hospitality industry experience and experience with budgeting tools and Power BI is a plus).

- Must have the stamina to work 45 to 55 hours per week
- Minimal travel required
- Home base is in Denver, CO at the Snooze Mothership (flexible and remote work schedule optional)
The Nitty Gritty Details
Denver area base salary range: $90,000-110,000 per year
The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the Snooze salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Snooze’s total compensation package for employees.
