Responsibilities

  • Provide timely resolution of in-depth problems or escalation on behalf of teammates and restaurant operations.
  • Evaluate, document, resolve and analyze trends to determine solutions and prevent future concerns.
  • Continuously strive for root-cause resolution to include building automation scripts with various tools to resolve issues.
  • Test corrective action to ensure issue has been adequately resolved.
  • Provide case status updates to management and end-users.
  • Support and maintain effective relationships with users.
  • Develop, document and implement Standard Operating Procedures and Service Guidelines relating to technology support.
  • Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources via the internet to aid in problem resolution.
  • Identify and learn applicable software and hardware supported by the organization.
  • Image and configure new user workstations and laptops.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
  • Certifications in currently used software applications a plus.
  • Five to seven years of related experience.
  • Willing to work some holidays, weekends and evenings to provide emergency support.
  • Working Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including desktop PCs, networking equipment, SQL databases, wireless access points, printers/scanners and handheld devices.
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) and Restaurant Applications (e.g. Aloha, QSR) desired.
  • Knowledge or experience in various programming languages to assist with script automation.
  • Ability to conduct research into a wide range of technology issues, as required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with an appropriate sense of urgency in a high-performance environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to present ideas in a team environment.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, with a focus on rapport-building and listening capabilities.
