Job Description:

· Utilize Hissho’s Nutritional Software (Genesis) and BOHA systems to ensure accurate nutritional information and labeling for our expansive product range.

· Design and customize menus to accommodate a variety of dietary needs and preferences while adhering to nutritional guidelines.

· Conduct detailed reviews of labels and ingredients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current FDA standards and nutritional regulations of current and future retail partners.

· Manage and regularly update essential databases, including store ingredient lists, menus, calorie counts, and allergen information, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

· Provide expert nutritional advice and lead training sessions for internal teams and external customers on labeling, regulatory updates, and best practices.

· Participate in and potentially spearhead transitions to new technological platforms, demonstrating a capability for effective change management.

· Proactively seek to find ways to enhance nutritional analysis, data management, and labeling processes.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, or related field.

· 1-2 years of professional experience in nutrition management, menu planning, or a similar role; experience in food service or retail is a plus.

· High proficiency in Genesis or similar nutritional analysis software, with a demonstrated ability to swiftly learn and adapt to new systems.

· Experience with or a strong desire to lead technology transitions and process improvements within nutritional systems.

· Effective problem-solving skills essential for identifying and resolving discrepancies in nutritional data and ensuring regulatory compliance.

· Effective interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships across diverse teams.

· Strong multitasking abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

· In-depth knowledge of food labeling regulations, including FDA standards, and a solid foundation in nutrition science and allergen control.

· Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, paired with outstanding organizational and meticulous attention to detail.

·Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to manage, analyze, and present data effectively.
