​​About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Structural Packaging Designer to join our Industrial and Packaging Design Team, with an outstanding design portfolio. You are a packaging design expert passionate about designing next-generation products and services that improve people’s lives. You are comfortable tackling all aspects of the design process, from user research to design detailing and delivery. You are by nature, a conceptual thinker, always iterating and prototyping to learn. You are comfortable stepping into a leadership role to help teams come together to deliver amazing experiences – and as such, you are extremely comfortable socializing, initiating and driving the processes, collaborations, negotiations and delivery these experiences require with an open, humble and collaborative attitude – focused on helping everyone reach incredible outcomes.

This position requires deep experience in Packaging Design, User Experience as well as knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and Sustainability. You’ve shown that physical products can provide value while looking good. You obsess over details (sometimes more than you should) and you think visually in a way that brings stakeholders along your journey. You Will:

  • Work closely alongside our Head of Industrial and Packaging Design, creating concepts, sketches, renders, and packaging prototypes with finely implemented details.
  • Make real hardware- from concept through manufacturing
  • Forge strong relationships with our teams, including industrial design, product management, mechanical engineering, and marketing.
  • Bring your designs and our products to life through compelling storytelling.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of structural packaging design experience with bringing multiple products to the market.
  • Excellent skills in ideation, concept visualization, form development, CAD, hands-on model making, and rapid prototyping.
  • Strong portfolio of cutting-edge design with strong visual acuity and formal literacy, that proves not only solid design skills but also forward-thinking.
  • Ideal candidate understands the latest technologies and manufacturing processes and how to best implement them and has a proven understanding of mechanical engineering and sustainability.
  • Well-versed in user-centered design methods, testing, and techniques.
  • Experience defining Materials, Colors, and Finishes, Optimizing Design for Manufacturing, reviewing prototypes, EVT and DVT builds.
  • Uses excellent communication, design thinking, and presenting skills to proactively share concepts and physical prototypes throughout all design stages.
  • Willingness to take direction and learn from others.
  • Enjoys an autonomous working style and believes in collaboration in a multi-disciplinary design environment.

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role.

H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSU’s) so that H&H employees own a piece of our company.

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location.

$100,000$140,000 USD
